Hey all... I have a word document from a client that contains a header and footer (and some various body content).
I'm trying to create an app where they can go in thru a web interface, enter data in a textarea, and have the action page populate this word document with the content they enter. Can't do any COM as Word is not (and cannot/will not be) installed on the server. I've tried saving the original .doc as a web page, saving the trillions of lines of MS-word markup into a <cfsavecontent> var, and using <cffile> to write a .doc, but I lose a lot of the formatting, and there doesn't seem to be any way for me to retain the headers/footers. Any ideas, or am I SOL?
