Though that's hardly a scientifically accurate sample, and I think you may be right for a large number of programmers it may just be that each presentation I've recorded/given thus far attempts to cover too much material by itself. As the author I tend to have the problem that a lot of authors have in not realizing how much material is really being covered in a given presentation because I've already long-since absorbed it all, so to me it's all "old hat" and I don't realize how quickly I might seem to be "zipping through" things to someone who's seeing it for the first time. I think I also tend to think about the framework in a holistic way so I tend to want to explain all the interrelationships between the framework's different features (like the synergy between automated code execution and the (x)html library). s. isaac dealey 954.522.6080 new epoch : isn't it time for a change? add features without fixtures with the onTap open source framework http://www.fusiontap.com http://coldfusion.sys-con.com/author/4806Dealey.htm ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Discover CFTicket - The leading ColdFusion Help Desk and Trouble Ticket application http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=48 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:4:209874 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/4 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:4 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.4 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
