I'm running CFMX 6.1 on Linux and really just recently--and very much out of the blue, I might add--it's started to get a little flaky.
The first thing I've noticed is that a pretty simple RSS grab and parse snippet caused the entire server to reboot--it hangs and cannot pull down, but when running on a test server there are absolutely no issues. The next thing I've noticed is that a site that's been in place for ages suddenly breaks, and the only CF code on the page is a <cfform></cfform>. Suffice it to say, I'm concerned, and I'm not exactly ready to upgrade to 7 yet--this shouldn't be happening anyway, so my miserable financials shouldn't really be a factor just yet. Has anyone seen this kind of "breaking" and is there any advice? I'm hoping I don't need to re-install, but if that's what I've got to do, well, that's what I've got to do. Thanks, Russ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Logware (www.logware.us): a new and convenient web-based time tracking application.
