To make it clearer - CF was accepting more and more request but could not close them as there was some rogue connection / query going on.

Well my budy and I came in and installed all the latest patches and it fixed it right up. What was causing it was the connection to SQL server was constantly filling up with requests and would eventually crash CF and would require a bounce of CF. So yeah, update with all the patches and see what that does for you. J.J.
