Can I release a query that has been created within a template and is no longer needed? (CF 4.0.1) A couple of other questions: Are queries in the variables scope or do they have their own scope? If I can release, delete, undefine, redefine, or otherwise get rid of the query, does CF actually release the memory allocated to the query during template execution. If not, it kills one of the reasons I'd have for releasing the query.
