I am trying to open files in a remote directory in a ColdFusion
application.
The command is <a href="#File_Loc#" target="_new">#File_Title#</a>,
where the File_Loc variable is a complete path (eg,
\\Ric2s-m3\DashboardDocs\Dash Overview.ppt).

This works fine in Explorer, but Netscape adds the web server name in
front of that address (eg, //Ric2s-m4/\\Ric2s-m3\DashboardDocs\Dash
Overview.ppt).

How can I get Netscape to go directly to the document, rather than
appending the server name before the link?

Thanks!
