OK, this is going to take awhile. I inherited a website from a programmer
that fell off the radar screen. Apparently she talked this client into
moving a dozen or so websites from one hosting company to another (Windows
to Windows) and left with 10 of them completely broken. I have been through
lots of code that absolutely could never have worked on any server so
obviously the most current/complete codebase didn't always get installed for
each site so nothing will surprise me at this point. And of course there are
no backups.

So I have this site that uses the WebFXMenu. The root of the site is in a
folder "www". There was an index.html with links to the site for 3 different
languages. The site is using Fusebox 3 methodology so the 3 links point to
index.cfm with different fuseactions for the languages. The site is in a
folder called "NewVersion" so these links didn't work. I added "NewVersion/"
to these links and the site works.

There is an admin section in folder "www/NewVersion/manager/". When I hit
manager/index.cfm I get a login screen, and can login successfully in either
IE or FF. In IE I have no WebFXMenu, but in FF I have a good menu. But in FF
if I click on a menu item to a page where you are supposed to be able to
edit data, the text editor (cf_activedit v:2.5) is all greyed-out. It feels
like some paths need fixing, but I've tried everything I can think of. So
I'm hoping the codebase really will work, but I don't understand how a
different webserver mapping situation could have caused this.

I have downloaded a new version of the WebFXMenu but installing it looks
daunting.

Ideas anyone? Let me know if seeing code would help.

Greg
