We have a page on our site (which has worked for many years) that uses CHTTP to
collect some data from an external webpage. Suddenly it has stopped working.
If I use a web browser on our CF server machine, I can get to the external page
with no problem, but when CFHTTP tries to access it, it returns this message
which I don't really understand:

Information Alert
Status: 502 Bad Gateway
Description: DNS Host name resolution failed. Please check the spelling in the
name

This message doesn't look like a CF error, so I assume it's being generated as
a response to the HTTP request by the external web server. I was under the
impression that since CFHTTP just generates an HTTP request, it shouldn't be
any different than accessing a webpage with a browser. But like I said, I can
get to the page with a browser, but CFHTTP gets the 502 message.

Does anyone know what might be causing this preoblem or how I might be able to
resolve it? Thanks in advance. We are running CF 6.1 on a Windows 2003 server
machine.
