Snake... I'm not sure if you have "full access" to all that iText does (with the version built-in to CF). You MAY have to install another iText JAR file and use that version. There are some issues with doing that as CF ignores the new iText JAR file unless you tweak something (just can't recall what it was....but the solution is in the archives...and I was part of that thread....recall talking about iText versions in that thread).
