Create an object from java.net.InetAddress and cfdump it. You will find
everything you need

<cfobject class="java.net.InetAddress"
          type="java"
          action="create"
          name="inetaddrclass" />

<cfdump var="#inetaddrclass#" />

Ps... the class name is case sensitive

Subject: resolve a hostname

Hello,

Is there anyway to create a CF script to resolve a user or hostname into an
IP address using: #CGI.REMOTE_ADDR# ?
