Don't get me wrong, once I'm in CFE, I really like it a lot. I'm just
wondering though, why does it need to "put" a file somewhere at all?
Can't it wait until I'm ready to save a file? When I hit new, I just
want a new file to appear in the IDE. Hell, I may not even have any idea
at all where I'm going to end up saving it when all is said and done. I
guess this is kind of what the scribble pad does. It would just be nice
to have that be the default behavior.

I just figured out the whole insert snippet thing (it was ctrl+shift+.)
I added a bunch of my code templates as snippets, changed the keyboard
combo and it does work very well indeed. I rather like the Homesite
method of pasting in the text and allowing the | to indicate the
position of the cursor, but pasting part of the snippet in one text area
and the rest in another works ok too. Now that I can get all of those
entered, I'm going to go back and give CFE another shot.
