The name of the structure is results because the entire structure is being returned, but the actual data that the method is retrieving is being stored in the structure, the rest of the structure contents is just meta data and error and debug information. I need a word for the key in the structure that holds the actual results of the query or operation. Right now im using output, but I dont really like that word to describe it. and return, what I would like to use, is a coldfusion restricted keyword. So would you guys stick with output or do you have a better suggestion? In case that doesn't make much sense, I am returning a structure called results that has the following keys currently: args endTime startTime execTime error warning success successcode successmessage and output, which is what I want to change.
