I'm sorry that his is such a basic question but frankly I have not had to do this outside of webservices.
I will be needing to send an xml document and will need to recieve a responce back also an xml document. What are the mechanics of this action? I am not really sure where to start. CFHTTP? How do I recieve the file? CFFILE?
