That would tell the browser that the incoming file is an 'undefined executable' via HTTP. That MIME type is for SMTP, yes? Regardless, its far better to genuinely match the MIME type to what the file really is. Back in the day, if you wanted to force a save dialog you used 'application/unknown' and sent the thing as an attachment. Unfortunately a Windows security update killed that pretty much dead, IIRC.
