<cfqueryparam does give me tag insight, and most other things work for me as well. You might join the cfeclipse mailing list and ask this question there (http://cfeclipse.tigris.org/). The CFE developers are there and are usually very helpful. In fact, I have seen other people ask this same question lately, but I don't remember the answer (maybe it was you! ;) ).
