Why would you want to do that? (just kidding) I think in MX6+ you've got to make some changes to an xml file. I haven't done this in a while, but I used to use different file extensions for my apps and it seems to me that once we entered the MX era, you had to touch the xml. I'll poke around a bit and see if I can find any of my notes from last year...
