Right, which is why I'm not wow'd by Rails (and ColdFusion on Wheels seems to provide just those generator parts at the moment). The ActiveRecord part is useful and we have that in ColdFusion now (thanks to Joe Rinehart). objectBreeze seems to be another similar concept. I suspect there are several others out there.
