I have never used either, but I was looking at Open Laszlo yesterday. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it looked like you had to be running a server for Laszlo to work. I'd prefer to use Flex Builder and just throw an swf where I need it, but that's just my opinion. Of course, it's hard to argue with free.
