Thanks Dave....

DTS failed (copying all objects) with a complaint about the "bigint" datatype 
(which I don't think I even use).  I'm now runing DTS again but only copying 
tables and their data.  So far so good...175K of about 500K records converted. 
I'll just be stuck with adding back in my PKs/FKs/indexes (could be 
worse)....and should be quicker than what you've laid out above Dave.....but if 
it comes down to it.... ;-)
