Thanks Jochem... will the exception error stop the execution of the
cfmail for the rest of the valid emails?  I would think/hope not

And what is an "NDN"?... non-deliverable something I assume

And wouldn't this NDN go back to the sender address?

If you don't spool (spoolEnable attribute) cfmail will throw an 
exception when an error occurs when delivering to the first SMTP 
server. Any errors further along will generate an NDN that is 
send back to the failto address (presuming the recipients mail 
server follows the appropriate RFCs).
