I'm working on a custom app that will run through the blackberry browser and
use CF to process data. I've figured out how to grab the headers that will let
me set some security settings such as pin and email, etc.

I'd like to load a custom icon on the Blackberry that will open a certain page
so the user will go directly to where they are supposed to go. However I can't
figure out how to load the icon on the handheld. I've been through the BB
developers docs, but don't know enough Java to make any of their examples work.

I think if I could figure out how to open a socket connection and set the
required headers, I could post a form to the MDS service that would work. Would
I have to use cfscript for something like this?

If you've done something like this or know something about opening a socket and
setting headers, let me know.

Thanks,
Brian
