I've run into a similar problem before, and if it's the same problem, it's not DW8, its CF. We had to delete the class files that CF had generated before the server would "see" the new file and process the changes.

I save a file after making a change. I made an oops and forgot to change a value from get_table.form to get_table.recordcount. I get an error saying that form is not an element of get_table. I change it to rcordcount and I get the same error, but the new code is listed on the error page. Another problem is a change just doesn't come up and it shows the old code. It's seems like a caching issue, but nothing is getting cached as far as i know. This does not happen when we are using DWMX. i am not sure what the correlation is, but it is bizarre.
