Honestly, the problem is NOT with the application (although both FW and PS
could be MUCH better with their slicing).

The issue is that most designers (who don't also know HTML) don't know the
best way to slice things. They'll just draw sliecs where they want main
images and let the app interpret the rest of the slices. What this leads to
is a LOAD of messy HTML with colspans and rowspans and entire rows of empty
table cells just to get the number of columns correct so that everything
lines up.

If these designers would simply learn the most efficient way of slicing
things then this wouldn't be an issue.

Of and if they'd also get in the habit of naming EVERY FREAKING LAYER we
programmers wouldn't have to go behind them and delete crap code.
