To remove a scheduled job the hard way, edit neo-cron.xml directly.
It's can be found (in the J2EE deployment of Cold Fusion) in
\cfusion-ear\cfusion-war\WEB-INF\cfusion\lib

Maybe you need to restart the server or something?
