Probably they started getting more and more requests for CF hosting and 
hastily slapped something together since they realized they were losing 
potential hosting customers.  I don't suspect they'll ever provide the 
necessary support and knowledge to become competitive with other more 
established CF hosts.  However I guess if you have a site with a couple 
cfmails and a cfinclude or two, and no sensitive data, it's a cost effective 
solution.
