Correct me if I am wrong but I thought the session variables are applied to the application Which is mapped to the url of http://www.mysite.com
Since https is a different protocol, I did not think you could in theory share those variables. What I did was shared the DSN and such. Passed a URL variable to the secured site such as the Basket ID and then pulled the data on the secured site and handled it accordingly.
