All right, you asked for it. :) 1) Is there a way to import an existing product database of products that my client already has into CartWeaver? I would assume that I'd have to export the DB into some kind of CSV file, then import it into the DB that CW supplies, but is there some kind of documented format? Or do I have to roll my own?
2) Does the cart automatically use some kind of shopper account process where repeat customers can just log in and have their info stored in the DB somewhere to prevent them from having to supply this info every time? 3) Is there a Gift Certificate module (or already built-in) where they could buy GC's? I already know the pitfalls and difficulties inherent in this, but some carts have figured it out (like CfWebStore). 4) Is there a way to select a group of products and put them on sale without having to go in and change the individual product prices themselves? 5) Is there a real-time shipping module (ie; UPS, USPS, etc) available? From what I've read, this is a no, but no doesn't always mean no. At least in this case. That's all. Looking to change shopping carts, and want to make sure "the grass isn't greener".
