If you're had problems with programming on the timeline, than perhaps you
should give the Flex2 BETA a try. It's more linear like most scripting /
programming languages, but still has OO roots to offer flexibility.(pun
intended)

Subject: good Flash 8 book/tutorials?

I'm an absolute beginner at flash. I've played around with it a few times,
but could never really "get it". It's just built in a way that is
counter-intuitive to most programmers.

Is there a good Flash 8 book / tutorials that can get me up to speed? I'm
not really looking to make any cool flash animations. just looking to be
able to understand how it all fits together and what the logic flow is.
