Not really what I mean, more a point that as a "ColdFusion" programmer, you
need to know a certain amount of SQL, not just crud, in your arsenal.  

You are the all-rounder - you have a great level of SQL and ColdFusion, a
perfect balance - one I think is essential.

I very much disagree. First of all, I think that writing anything but the
most trivial stored procedures is something that is generally outside the
scope of the duties of a ColdFusion programmer. Second, why would not
knowing the idiosyncracies of one specific dbms that isn't even
multi-platform mean that somebody is not a good ColdFusion programmer?
