Hey all, I was just working on some query of queries code that used a manually value-modified query when I got this error:
Error casting an object of type to an incompatible type. This usually indicates a programming error in Java, although it could also mean you have tried to use a foreign object in a different way than it was designed. I have gotten this error before, and I know I have seen other people post about it. This is really frustrating, BUT, I just happened to figure out that this can be solved using JavaCast(). I have never seen this explained before (though it probably is somewhere), so I thought I would give it a crack to share the power: http://www.bennadel.com/blog/237-Setting-ColdFusion-Query-Cell-Values-With-J avaCast-Fixes-Errors.htm Finally my query of queries can rock it hardcore again! .......................
