I fired up VS 2005 and created a new console app with the code you posted, and the output I got from the VB.NET program was NOT what you have here. I got the same result reported by Peter Boughton for his CFMX code. I also put a test page on a CFMX 7 server with that code, and got the same output: MDVpYVMX3JmnAp77FaAaQ6WtOdM= (That is, in my testing, both the original VB.NET code, and Peter's CFML, yield the SAME results.)
