Well now your talking about two separate mail systems here. What I can say about your initial post is I've send 0bit size messages, using IIS smtp, like those that get sent to the spool directory while testing stupid shit will go into the spool and never be sent out. All messages behind them in que stay there as well. This was back on 6.1 not sure this issue still exists on 7.
