Nic if you contact your closest UserGroup they ought to be able to set up a free session on Connect for you. They get a lot of Connect time.
However dont let it go anywhere near Adobe's certification people, it'll be set up in time for CF9 or maybe CF10, given that they are yet to post any 2006 certifications on the Adobe web site..
