In case anyone else is looking at install CF 4.5.1 Express for Linux on a RAQ4... I tried to do a straight install and everything appeared to go well. Tested a couple of CF pages and that worked. Then I checked out some of our hosted sites to make sure all was well with the world and it appeared to be so until I hit a site, my test site, that has ASP activated. It appears that by installing CF it basically kills ASP. The ASP server starts and I can even access the ASP Manager with asp pages but not on a virtual site. I tried disabling ASP on the site and then enabling it again but no luck. I was able to uninstall CF and manually replace the httpd.conf file with the backup to get everything back the way it was. Here is the output of the install: Copying files..... Setting up uninstall links... Initializing ColdFusion Settings... ColdFusion registry initialized. Customizing ColdFusion startup scripts... ColdFusion installation completed successfully. The ColdFusion Application Server is now running! I will venture forth to see what I can see but thought this may be useful to others attempting the same thing. Of course if you have been through this already and know the fix, fess up! :) Greg Caron Site Administrator SimpleServers.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/cf-talk@houseoffusion.com/ Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/index.cfm?sidebar=lists or send a message with 'unsubscribe' in the body to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
