I have two scenario's, one we have figured out, one we havent. 1) Figured out: When using the cfstoredproc tag and doing a select query in a package/procedure which returns more than 46 columns, the CF 7 server spins off into never never land. If you push it by hitting the URL several times, you can crash the server. If you use cfquery everything works fine, so our immediate solution was to re-write these into coldfusion templates. Has anyone else seen this issue?
test cases: cf6 and oracle 9 - all good cf6 and oracle 10g - I forget cf7 and oracle 9 - off to never never land cf7 and oracle 10g - off to never never land So we concluded, it was most likely the cf7 server and NOT the oracle 10g. 2) Currently trying to figure out: when using the cflogin tag in CF6 everything works fine, in CF7 Im getting "String index out of range: -1". The cflogin tag just doesnt work. Any ideas ?
