As with everything, including CF, Ajax, and other new technologies... everything in moderation.
I'm easily the biggest Flash fan on the list, but bad *anything* is bad. I personally don't like the use of Flash for straight marketing as it takes away from what I consider the best attributes of Flash and stereotypes it.
