I'm not an expert, but I've been using 'text' and/or 'ntext' in SQL Server for years and have never done that, so I'm going to say no, that's not true.
Matt A co-worker of mine just told me that in order to use the text data > type in SQL Server, you have to enable CLOB and BLOB in the data > source in CFAdmin. Is this true?
