I've used 1.4.2_12 for some time now on production sites. It fixed some memory issues they were having (this was still when Adobe was only supporting to 1.4.2_09). Like Rick said though, Adobe does not support past 1.4.2_11 officially, although some folks have been installing 1.4.2_13 with success during the time zone issues. The problem will arise if you have Adobe support and you tell them you are running above 1.4.2_11. They will say they can't help you and it may take some conversations before they move past that fact ;).
