Take a look at the DateDiff function. You can use that to accomplish
your task.

Subject: CFIF and suppressing a "register" button if event_date is in
the past

I have an example:

<a
href="http://www.robertstrausscenter.org/Newsite/events_details.cfm?ID=2
0>http://www.robertstrausscenter.org/Newsite/events_details.cfm?ID=20</a
>

This event was on April 22, 2007 so it no longer needs the registration
button, but since the page is used for other events that are current
(and need the registration button) what is the code for suppressing the
button for past dates.

Basically I need the <cfif> expression that says "suppress this button
if the current date is less than today's date"

Thanks for the help!
