I am creating a small, two page, master-detail, Flex/CF application. During initial development and implementation the data persistence will be done with XML files. When and if this tool is fully implemented, it will most likely be migrated to a database of some level.
Now this speaks to me of using data access objects of object orientated programming. But I have never quite got my head around what goes where when implementing this kind of structure. Can anybody point me to good hands-on kind of discussion that explains and give examples of the various pieces?
