It doesn't even take infection. I bot can 'scribe too, ya know? They're sneaky smart, probably spam AI is where computer sentience comes from. They won't be killing us, they'll be smothering us with ads! "It was only supposed to harvest email addys, but now it rules the world" That said, I don't think just because something is inevitable, it's path shouldn't be guided, or whatever. I wouldn't mind maybe funky example email code vs. easily available email addys. Toss in a regex, on the web stuff, and call it a day (or night, as the case may be). =] Just be glad your name alone isn't unique-ish, or you'd really be hard pressed to prevent googleableness (without a nom de plume, obviously). Yeah, add a regex to protect peoples names while you're at it, MikeD! :-) Just Joshing, of course. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Macromedia ColdFusion MX7 Upgrade to MX7 & experience time-saving features, more productivity. http://www.adobe.com/products/coldfusion?sdid=RVJW Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Talk/message.cfm/messageid:282968 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Talk/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.4
