Your survey has very loaded questions :) I'll be interested to see the results... FWIW, I'll go ahead and give my thoughts here: - yes, CF is OO and it's 100% in terms of being able to code in an OO style - no, Adobe don't need to add anything (beyond what's in CF8) Caveat: a lot of people think Java == OO and complain that CF doesn't have some feature X that Java has. 9 times out of 10, there are other well-respected OO languages that don't have feature X either. Example: Smalltalk and Ruby do not have interfaces (and don't need them). -- Sean A Corfield -- (904) 302-SEAN An Architect's View -- http://corfield.org/ "If you're not annoying somebody, you're not really alive." -- Margaret Atwood ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Deploy Web Applications Quickly across the enterprise with ColdFusion MX7 & Flex 2 Free Trial http://www.adobe.com/products/coldfusion/flex2/?sdid=RVJU Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Talk/message.cfm/messageid:283220 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Talk/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.4
