anyway. thanks a lot... One followup question.. I have to restrict the number 
of simultaneous active sessions. For this I have been doing some backend java 
to access coldfusion java session objects and such.. I look in a such for say 
'username' key nad if it still exists then it is still a valid session. 

Now, user didn't explicitly 'logout' but just closed the browser, then your 
mechanism kicks in and forces cooki reset so browser no longer identifies with 
the old session. However, can you plz confirm that the corresponding session is 
cleared too, when cookie is reset?
