Hi Guys,

I want to build a new CMS in Coldfusion 8. First I thought, I could build the
backoffice with Coldfusion 8 Flash Forms. This way I can use cftree, rich text
area etc. But every flash form function in CF 8 can be build with AJAX too,
like treeview, FCK editor.

I have thought of these points:

PRO Flash Form
1. Browser independent. (although you need a Flash plugin)
2. Quick developement. (format = flash)

PRO AJAX (javascript)
1. Fast ( almost no loading times on tree for ex, Flash Form (CF7) are sluggish)
2. CFM engine indepent, could deploy CMS on for example Railo too.

What are your opinions/experiences on the use of CF8 flash forms?
