My answer to that used to be Imaging (without third party stuff)

But now that CF8 has that, I'd say reverse the question.

What can CF do that PHP can't. Lots!

Here's some off the top of my head (and I haven't looked at php for a while
so don't kill me)

1. Flash Forms
2. LDAP
3. Exchange Intergration

I reckon there is a lot more, its possible that a hard core PHP person could
rattle off a few that CF can't.
