Depends on which Pervasive you are talking about. If you mean the one that started life as BTrieve I would try the linked server approach. If you mean the one that started life as PostgreSQL I would try to connect directly to it with a PostgreSQL JDBC driver (the product is only rebranded, not actually changed).
