> ColdFusion 8? Bet it's the Java 6 > performance bug in the class loader...
I need to remember that... I remember reading your blog about it but for some reason, it just didn't click when I read his post about having trouble getting MG started. The reason the error message changed might be because x number of components got initialized the first time, then x number more the 2nd time, so each time it's getting a little further through the init process and caching up to the point that it errors out. So after 3-4 or however many individual requests it would get to a point where all the necessary components that load when the app inits are available and the app works more or less normally despite any sluggishness from init'ing beans, etc. on an individual request. -- s. isaac dealey ^ new epoch isn't it time for a change? ph: 503.236.3691 http://onTap.riaforge.org/blog ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;160198600;22374440;w Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Talk/message.cfm/messageid:296092 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Talk/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.4
