Does anyone know of any articles/blog posts/resources on different database schemas based around using tags for categorization, maybe even (and I'm pushing it here) with a ColdFusion focus? I've got a project coming up that will involve a kind of tagging and am considering my options.
I found this article from 2005 about del.icio.us - http://www.pui.ch/phred/archives/2005/04/tags-database-schemas.html It's talking about mySQL however. We will be using SQL Server 2005, and in my dreams some smart person has created something like a database structure with a set of stored procedures for accessing and sorting. Kinda like Celko's nested tree sets. Maybe. Does anyone have any pointers?
