Ya, in dreamweaver when you start typing the tag the nameconflict attribute is 
shown as available.  So I selected it and set it to "error".

Then when I started testing the application I noticed I was destroying files 
because the error never occurred and the files were flat out overwritten.

Kind of a dangerous thing.

There's a lot of people who don't realize it.  I see people use
nameconflict all the time and it doesn't do anything unless
action="upload"

I've complained about it, but the general consensus has been "use
fileexists() you idiot" so that's what I do.
