Has anyone tried to "upgrade" the old Axis version CF8 ships with to Axis2? At the moment I am developing a POJO web service which runs on JRun/CF8. It works alright but I have ran into some problems with complex data types and inheritance. I have implemented exactly the same web service in Weblogic 9.2 with no problems. I haven't been able to pinpoint the problem but I think it might be the old axis library, so this got me thinking about putting Axis2 into CF8.
